Just 1 House

How often do you think of owning a house?

With news like - "Vinod Khanna in record realty deal at Rs 31 cr" at such costs ordinary people in India would never be able to buy a house!!

"Vinod Khanna in record realty deal at Rs 31 cr" - Cinestar and BJP MP Vinod Khanna has bought a residential apartment at Malabar Hill, in the tony South Mumbai area, from Citibank for Rs 1.25 lakh a sq ft. Khanna has paid Rs 31.25 crore for the 2,500 sq ft flat. The sale price was four times higher than the reserve price of Rs 32,000 per sq ft. Real estate industry experts said the price at which a property was sold cannot be viewed as a benchmark in South Mumbai as the area has a limited supply of real estate. "Buyers are keen on South Mumbai properties due to the status attached to it. Properties in the area will always sell at a premium," said Sanjay Dutt, deputy managing director, Cushman & Wakefield."

What do you think??

Some of us with dreams of purchasing a house in India, the prices that come to mind for a mere 2BHK is 25lakhs and above. 2BHK is a what a small family would start with as they grow the family would like to move to 3/4BHK if possible or more in terms of reality 2 2BHK's to accomodate the family.

With rising prices ordinary man should not think of moving from a rented apartment, where rents are at an equal high.

Well, man just needs some space to live, food and clothes.

Oh! not to forget a JOB!!!
